We seek an experienced development professional with five (5) or more years of experience in major gifts and planned giving in a comprehensive fundraising program for the role of Senior Development Officer. The person in this role will oversee and manage all aspects of major giving and planned giving to secure large gifts and grow the number of gifts made through bequests, trusts charitable annuities, and other planned giving vehicles.  He/she will partner with and solicit donors to realize their philanthropic ambitions while advancing the objectives of the hospital’s foundation and strategic priorities of the healthcare system.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) or more years of major gifts/planned giving experience. Must understand the role and importance of major gifts and planned giving in a comprehensive fundraising program. Our ideal candidate has excellent track record of working with philanthropically minded donors looking for a mission to support.  Must be comfortable managing large donor portfolios and have superb networking skills.
