We seek candidates with ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCCS, RCS) certification for the role of Sr. Cardiac Sonographer/Cardiac Sonographer. The person in this role will work an 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, M-F shift at the health system’s new medical building complex (which runs along Illinois, Mariposa and Third streets). He/she will perform echocardiographic ultrasound studies on varied patient groups, interpret acquired data, and develop preliminary reports according to departmental procedures and job standards. He/she will complete job duties with minimal clinical supervision. He/she will work alongside other sonographer staff in a collegial manner to facilitate the completion of scheduled or ordered echocardiographic exams. 

Candidates must hold ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCCS, RCS) certification. Must have previous experience performing adult cardiac echocardiograms. Experience with with congenital heart disease patients and/or HCM patients is a plus, as is heart and lung transplant and advanced heart failure experience. Also preferred is experience with VAD, ECMO, TAVR, Mitra-Clip, and other advanced therapies.

The role offers highly competitive compensation ($148,000 to $202,000 based on experience) and excellent benefits. Relocation assistance is available.
