Looking for a change of scenery?  We seek candidates with five (5) or more years of previous hospital experience in all aspects of business office functions. for the role of Director of Patient Business Services.  In this role you will be responsible for facilitating all revenue cycle functions.  You will ensure that all patients are promptly and accurately registered and the data is communicated to the appropriate areas.  You will monitor the overall collection functions from third party payers as well as the patients to maximize cash flow and reimbursement. You will coordinate managed care contract negotiations, contract financial performance analysis and payer contract compliance.  You will ensure proper internal hospital communication services (PBX) are provided to allow daily operations to function well.  You will coordinate work process flows between the patient financial staff and ancillary personnel to provide courteous customer service.  You will be responsible for compliance with all State, Federal and Hospital regulations regarding billing and collection guidelines.  You will ensure process issues are evaluated for compliance with hospital policy and initiates performance improvement as indicated.  You will address complaints regarding Patient Business Services related functions and follows through with resolutions to prevent recurrences. Interfaces directly with the CFO concerning operational obstacles. Assures adequate, yet conservative staffing. 

Candidates must have a Bachelors degree and five (5)  or more years of previous hospital experience in all aspects of business office functions to include Patient Access (Scheduling, Registration, Financial Counseling), Patient Accounts, and Revenue Cycle.  Must have knowledge of Joint Commission and state regulations for acute hospitals.  Must be able to work with physicians in a collaborative manner.
