We’re working on behalf of a 342-bed hospital in Hialeah, Florida that has been a center of healing in South Florida for more than 50 years.  The hospital’s specialties include a Center for Weight Loss Surgery, which helps patients from around the world enjoy healthier, happier lives.  Their Emergency Room is a primary stroke center with a dedicated Senior ER to ensure that elderly patients always receive the possible care. And their maternity services include a level II NICU to provide special care for newborns.  The hospital earned an “A” in Hospital Safety Score from the Leapfrog Group in Fall 2015.

We seek a Florida-licensed Nurse Practitioner with ANA Specialty certification in adult and/or geriatrics for the role ARNP – Clinical Coordinator.  In this role you will coordinate primary health planning for patients in collaboration with physicians and hospital personnel.  You will assess general health status of patients by providing history and physical examinations, and monitoring of appropriate laboratory and radiographic studies.  You will act as a liaison between patient, family members, hospital staff and physicians.  You will serve as a clinical resource to staff, providing education to enhance patient outcomes.  You will participate in the Multidisciplinary clinical rounds.  You will ensure 100% compliance to pre-op and Post of core measures of Cardiovascular surgical patients.  You will work very closely with the CVICU/CVOR/ CV Step down Nurses to ensure compassionate care to patients and their families.

Candidates must have a Masters degree in Nursing and hold current Florida ARNP license.  Must have ANA specialty certification in adult and/or geriatrics. A minimum of one (1) year clinical experience as an ARNP is preferred.  Must have a demonstrated ability to teach adult learner at all levels.  Must be able to effectively multi-task in a fast paced environment without getting flustered.
