Looking for a change of scenery?  We seek a Registered Nurse with five (5) or more years of  clinical nursing experience in acute care Surgical Services for the role of RN Nurse Manager – PACU/GI/Same Day Surgery.  In this role you will be responsible for the day to day operation of assigned departments including staffing, the delivery of clinical care and physician satisfaction while meeting budget expectations of the organization. Specific responsibilities include meeting cost targets as stated in the department’s approved budget, staff satisfaction as measured by turnover and the annual employee survey, physician satisfaction as measured by physician satisfaction survey, and patient satisfaction as measured by applicable patient surveys. Additional responsibilities include management functions such as conducting regular staff meetings, ensuring staffing complies with ratios for safe patient care, employee counseling, monitoring of attendance and educational needs. You will actively lead and/or participate in teams/committees to improve organizational outcomes and operations excellence.

Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Nursing and be licensed as an RN in the state of California.  Must have five (5) or more years of acute care surgical services experience that includes at least two (2) years of management/supervisory experience.  Must have current ACLS and PALS.  Preference given to candidates with national certification in surgical services.
