We seek a Registered Nurse with certification in Infection Control (CIC) by the Certification Board of Infection Control & Epidemiology for the role of Manager of Infection Prevention. In this role you will be manage the development and implementation of infection control goals, standards, plans, and programs which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization. You will assess the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with staff, physicians, and other departments. You will manage complaints and conflicts through to resolution. You will manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. You will perform and oversee scheduling, recruitment, payroll and student engagements. You will monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations. You will determine and justify needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitor usage, and oversee proper working order and/or stock supplies.

Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Nursing or a related field and have three (3) or more years of direct hospital system infection prevention program management experience.  Preference given to candidates with a Masters degree and certification in Infection Control (CIC) by the Certification Board of Infection Control & Epidemiology (CBIC).
