Looking for a great opportunity in a great location?  We seek candidates with three (3) or more years of oncology experience for the role of Pharmacist Specialist - Oncology.  In this role you will prepare and/or oversee the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications to patients or medical practitioners; make recommendations/decisions regarding substitution of prescribed pharmaceuticals. You will demonstrate an understanding of the use, clinical effects, and composition of drugs, including their chemical, biological, and physical properties.  You will supervise the preparation and dispensing of medications per State and Federal regulations. You will maintain records to adequately control accountability and adhere to requirements for drug recalls.  You will provide counseling on drug indications/contraindications, dosage, drug interactions, and side effects; provide other drug and pharmaceutical information when appropriate.

Candidates must have a Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy and three (3) or more years of oncology experience.  Must have active California pharmacist licensure. Strong preference given to candidates with have completed at PGY-2 oncology residency. Experience with Ortho patients is a plus.
