Looking for a change of scenery?  We seek candidates with five (5) or more years of experience with hospital, clinic, physician, and performance-based primary care and health system contracting for the role of Director Physician and Provider Contracting.  In this role you will report to the Assistant General Counsel and indirectly to the Chief Operating Officer, and be responsible for the oversight and management of the system. You will ensure that processes and standards for physician and allied health provider contracting, as well as associated regulatory compliance, organizational integrity, and business objectives are met.  You will be accountable for all activities associated with medical staff contracting and associated regulatory and quality standards.  You will assure Fair Market Value compliance, and quickly remedy outliers or concerns. You will be responsible for providing data analysis and reporting, trends and issues and supporting documentation to support the review, approval and decision-making process for physician and provider contracting, including physician compensation models and oversight of all physician contract arrangements, including call and coverage contracts, medical director agreements, and faculty contracts through the school of medicine.  

Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field and have five (5) or more years of healthcare management experience, relevant to the position.  Preference given to candidates with as Masters degree.  Must have experience with hospital, clinic, physician, and performance-based primary care and health system contracting.  Must have experience with contract management tools, templates, methods and processes. Must have experience working in a managed care and/or government health program.   Must have working knowledge of federal/state pharmaceutical codes, rules, regulations, laws, and procedures applicable to the profession.  Must have demonstrated leadership skills.
