We're working on behalf of a 122-bed hospital that is Riverside County's only designated Trauma Center and the county-designated Paramedic Base Station. It provides comprehensive emergency medical services, trauma surgery, intensive care, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation and other services. The location performs more than 4,000 surgeries a year, and has an average of 2,500 Emergency Department visits per month. The hospital has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Advanced Certification for Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement. The hospital system is one of only three hospitals in all of Riverside and San Diego Counties combined to achieve the gold seal of approval for this line of service. The advanced certification is for Joint Commission-accredited hospitals, critical access hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers seeking to elevate the quality, consistency and safety of their services and patient care.
Looking for a new opportunity? We seek a Registered Dietitian with four (4) or more years of progressively responsible experience in Nutrition and Food Services, including directing a dietary department in a health care setting, for the role of Director of Nutrition Services. In this role you will responsible for the delivery of food service and clinical nutrition in a health system environment. You will ensure the accuracy of department operations and that they meet county, state and federal guidelines. You will oversee compliance with safety policies and procedures are followed in all areas of the kitchen. You will coordinate regularly scheduled audits to evaluate the quality and accuracy of food service operations and document corrective action initiated related to data and analysis. You will oversee menu development. You will oversee planning and implementation of Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, providing a curriculum that has been approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association (ADA). Must hold certification as a Registered Dietitian. Must have four (4) or more years of progressively responsible experience in Nutrition and Food Services, including directing a dietary department in a health care setting. Must be able to instruct, supervise, and evaluate the work performance of others. Must be able to make decisions and to adapt to changes. Must possess basic computer skills of Microsoft Excel and Word. Preferred experience with a foodservice software management system and a payroll software system.
