We seek candidates with a BSN or BS in a health field along with two (2) or more years of acute care infection control experience for the role of Infection Prevention Manager. in this role you will implement the multiple facets for the Infection Control program and serve as a liaison between physicians and health care personnel and the various hospital committees. You will implement programs and provide educational opportunities to inform staff of proper Infection Control techniques. You will monitor compliance with multiple regulatory standards for infection control. You will monitor the delivery of safe, cost-effective care to patients, staff, visitors and others in the healthcare environment.
Candidates must have a BSN or BS in a health-related field and two (2) or more years of acute care infection control experience. Preference given to candidates with CIC certification. Preference also given to candidates who are licensed as a Registered Nurse (although this is not an absolute requirement). Must have knowledge and experience in patient care practices, microbiology, asepsis, disinfection/sterilization, adult education, infectious diseases, communication, program administration, and epidemiology.
