You have a Bachelors degree in Accounting and are a CPA. If the above describes you, we would very much like to get to know you. We seek candidates for the role of Accounting Policy / Corporate Development Accountant. In this role you will serve as a subject matter expert on various technical accounting matters related to acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures as well as interpreting, researching and resolving such matters. You will monitor and evaluate the impact of proposed accounting rule changes as well as assisting in the interpretation and implementation of accounting policies. You will perform due diligence and integrate newly acquired companies. You will create accounting policies and procedures for joint ventures. You will prepare and/or review asset impairment analyses including the annual test for goodwill impairment and tradenames. You will review footnote disclosures for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, investments and goodwill. You will participate in special projects and other technical accounting matters as they arise.
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree or higher and five (5) or more years accounting experience. Strong preference given to candidates with CPA certification. Candidates should have strong experience in technical accounting and/or mergers and acquisitions activity through industry and/or public accounting. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
