We're working on behalf of a 262-bed facility that is part of the six-hospital healthcare system in the Las Vegas area. The hospital provides a wide range of medical services and procedures, including comprehensive women's services for the Northwest Las Vegas area. In addition to providing digital mammography, gynecologic care and gynecologic surgery, the Women's Center pays special attention to new moms. During their stay, moms enjoy special menus, massages, and afternoon teas. The Women's Center maternity services include labor, delivery and recovery rooms, antepartum and post-partum care, a newborn nursery and a Level III NICU. Maternity Services features ten (10) delivery and recovery rooms, a 25-bed postpartum unit and newborn nursery, Cesarean surgical suites located on the unit, and lactation consultants onsite.

We seek a Registered Nurse with two (2) or more years of management/supervisory experience in OB and/or Labor/Delivery experience for the role of OB Nurse Manager - Women's Services. In this role, you will be responsible for the twenty-four (24) hour management of the unit assuring patient care meets the standard of care. You will ensure effective delivery of clinical patient care and compliance with administrative clinical policies and procedures. You will evaluate staff performance based on professional practice standards, relevant statutes, rules and regulations, and organizational criteria. You will provide effective fiscal management of the department. You will identify, develop, and implement performance improvement activities to enhance the delivery of patient care. You will maintain a professional demeanor and serves as a role model for staff. You will develop, propose, and implement goals and plans for patient care area.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and be licensed as an RN in the state of Nevada. Must have at least three (3) years of clinical experience and a minimum of two (2) years progressive management experience. Must have current BCLS certification.
