We're working on behalf of a Fortune 500 healthcare organization that helps standardize workflow in the central pharmacy IV room to reduce IV compounding errors and free time for pharmacy staff. They also help minimize waste. Their compounding workflow software enables formulary interoperability and helps reduce probability of errors via a combination of gravimetrics, barcode verification and a step-by-step guidance system. Available with optional, camera-based hardware, this solution provides visual documentation of vial, syringe and IV container information during each gravimetric step.
We seek candidates with five (5) or more years of software implementation experience required, preferably in healthcare applications/robotics, for the role of Senior Pharmacy Automation Consultant (Pyxis IV Prep) Pharmacist. In this role you will engage in extensive customer interaction and relationship development at the Director/Key Stakeholder level. You will guide the implementation process through demonstrated expertise of clinical and technical processes. Projects range in scope from large hospital to small/medium IDN level implementations requiring standardization across multiple product lines. You will work with the customer (with focus on large hospital systems to small/medium IDN’s level customers) by gathering customer requirements, defining best practices, design decisions and policy and procedures consulting. You will perform the required tasks to ensure timely Go-Lives and customer satisfaction. Project teams will include multiple disciplines from within Medication Systems and customer teams. You will serve as a mentor for both customers and internal team members.
Our ideal candidate has a Pharm.D. and five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacist that includes software implementation experience, preferably in healthcare applications/robotics. Experience in workflow design and process improvement methodologies is strongly preferred. I.V. room experience is a big plus, as is Software implementation experience required, preferably in healthcare applications/robotics

Must have working knowledge of a variety of software applications, such as pharmacy automation products, and exposure to solution design processes. Experience with integrated delivery networks/large health systems required. Must be able to clearly communicate, thoroughly document ,and demonstrate product implementation competency. Must have the ability to establish collaborative working relationships with cross-functional project teams. Must be able to do overnight travel up to 60-80%.
