Looking for a great opportunity with a leader? We seek a Registered Nurse with three (3) or more years of acute care nursing experience that includes two (2) or more years of charge nurse/supervisory experience for the role of Assistant Nurse Manager - Surgical Unit. In this role you will assist the Nurse Manager in the overall management of the clinical and administrative activities of the surgical unit. You will promote and participate in staff learning and development. You will promote staff learning, competence, and collegial relationships to strengthen patient outcomes in collaboration with unit leadership, the CPE. and the staff. You will assist in the scheduling and monitoring of staff educational programming. You will act as a role model by maintaining board certification in leadership, clinical and leadership expertise through demonstration, current practice, and participation in learning opportunities. You will proactively coach for performance improvement and achievement of unit/department goals.
Candidates have a Bachelors degree in Nursing and be licensed as an RN in the state of Pennsylvania (or have the ability to gain this licensure). Must have three (3) or more years of acute care nursing experience that includes at least two (2) years of OR/surgical services management experience. Must have current ALCS and BLS.
