RN Practice Administrator | Cardiology

You have a clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse and have a Masters Degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration. You have ten (10) or more years of experience in Health Care Administration that includes five (5) or more years or progressively responsible management experience in an academic medical setting.  You have extensive experience partnering with physicians and other healthcare professionals and a record of building and maintaining trusting and collaborative relationships. If the above describes you, we’d like to get to know you.  We seek candidates for the role of Practice Administrator, Cardiology.  In this role you will be responsible for the strategic management of the physicians practice and assist in establishing a framework for planning, directing, and coordinating practice services. You will act as a liaison in overseeing the management between the practice providers, clinical and administrative staff in conjunction with Operation Management. You will coordinate all functional activities in cooperation with the Department Chairperson/Medical Director.  You may also be responsible for academic or research components.
Candidates must clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse and have a MBA or MHA. Must have ten (10) or more years of experience in healthcare administration that includes at least five (5) years of management experience.  ACHE, FACHE, Administrator Certification is preferred. Experience in an academic medical setting is preferred. Experience in a physician organization or clinical practice setting is required. Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to alter existing operations or practices to meet changing organizational needs. Must have strong verbal, written, and oral communication skills required to interact with and educate all levels of health care practitioners.  Must have superior facilitation, negotiation and listening skills.
