Looking for a change of scenery? We seek candidates with a Master’s or PhD degree in Medical Physics or Physics and American Board of Radiology or American Board of Medical Physics certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics for the role of Therapeutic Medical Physicist.  In this role you will ensure that doses in Radiation Oncology are accurate, precise, and consistent with national standards. You will manage the Quality Assurance program in Radiation Oncology by assisting the department in the design, documentation, implementation and evaluation of procedures that ensure proper equipment performance consistent with accurate and precise doses. You will provide medical physics consultation for the clinical support or Radiation Oncologists, as required. You will assist all appropriate departments in the design, documentation, implementation and evaluation of proper departmental radiation safety procedures to ensure the safe and efficacious use of radiation-producing devices and radioactive material.

Candidates must have a Master's or PhD degree in Medical Physics or Physics. Most hold American Board or Radiology Certification in Diagnostic Radiological Physics or American Association of Physicists in Medicine.  Must have a at least five (5) years Physics experience. Must have experience in radiation-producing equipment installation, calibration, commissioning, and acceptance.
