Cardiology Practice Administrator

We seek candidates for the role of Practice Administrator, Cardiology.  In this role you will be responsible for the strategic management of the physicians practice and assist in establishing a framework for planning, directing, and coordinating practice services. You will act as a liaison in overseeing the management between the practice providers, clinical and administrative staff in conjunction with Operation Management. You will coordinate all functional activities in cooperation with the Department Chairperson/Medical Director.  You may also be responsible for academic or research components.
Candidates must have a Masters degree and ten (10) or more years of experience in healthcare administration that includes at least five (5) years of management experience.  ACHE, FACHE, Administrator Certification is preferred. Experience in an academic medical setting is preferred. Experience in a physician organization or clinical practice setting is required. Our ideal candidate will have experience in workflow processing, KPIs, and oversight of call centers. Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to alter existing operations or practices to meet changing organizational needs. Must have strong verbal, written, and oral communication skills required to interact with and educate all levels of health care practitioners.  Must have superior facilitation, negotiation and listening skills.
