Looking for a terrific opportunity with a national leader? We seek candidates with three (3) or more years of ambulatory/clinic operations experience and one (1) or more years of clinic management responsibilities for the role of Practice Manager for Orthopedics. In this role you will report to the Assistant Director and work independently with the primary responsibility for the supervision of administrative/clerical, support and clinical staff of the Department of Orthopedics at the Orthopaedic Institute. You will liaise to admitting/registration, radiology, clinical revenue/billing and other Health System departments. You will be responsible for the operations of the clinic of the Orthopaedic Institute. You will be responsible for supervising the operational, human resource, regulatory quality, administrative and business functions of the Orthopaedic clinics.
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree and three (3) or more years of ambulatory/clinic operations experience in a related field with one (1) or more years of clinic management responsibilities. Must have excellent verbal and demonstrated written communication skills. Must have proficiency in MS office products. Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Must have previous experience in medical office practice management. Must be able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and work well with staff, patients, and providers. A high degree of independence, initiative, assertiveness, customer service and diplomacy are necessary in dealing with faculty, staff and patients in a complex environment.
