In this role you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the operations and staff (clinical and non-clinical) of the Laboratory, Pathology and EKG. You will maintain effective business relationships which promote the services of the division. You will be accountable for safe, effective patient-family centered care in alignment with the mission, vision and values of the organization.
Candidates must have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Medical Technology or related field and five (5) or more years of general laboratory experience in a hospital or commercial medical laboratory. Must have California CLS license and be eligible for NV MT license. Must have three (3) or more years of management experience in a hospital setting. Must have expert knowledge of principles and practices of effective management, supervision and leadership. Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to establish working relationships with patients, staff and physicians. Must be able to develop relationships with the various departments in order to establish a consistent and supportive process throughout the system. Must have highly effective collaboration skills, written and verbal communications skills.
