We seek a Registered Nurse with strong regulatory experience and Six Sigma certification for the role of Senior Director, Clinical Quality Improvement. The person in this role will serve is a multi-facility role with 6 direct reports. She/he will serve as a key member of the hospital management team, providing leadership and oversight to the strategic development and implementation of the quality and patient safety programs (performance improvement, patient safety, and accreditation) with responsibility for planning, organizing, directing the managerial and operational activities of the infrastructure required to support these services. She/he will provide leadership in the promotion of a Culture of Safety, effective use of performance improvement methodologies and data integrity, validity and reliability. This position serves as the liaison with The Joint Commission, CMS and other pertinent regulatory agencies and oversees the organization’s continuous survey readiness processes.
Candidates must have a Masters degree and be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts. Must have five (5) or more years in QA/PI in an acute care hospital environment. Must have Joint Commission experience. CPHQ certification is highly desired. Candidates w/o CPHQ certification must be able to take the exam within two (2) years of employment. Experience in children's as well as adult facilities strongly desired.
