We seek a registered nurse with one (1) or more years of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing environment for the role of Unit Manager at a 4-star 100-bed, fast-paced skilled nursing facility with short-term rehab and long-term care. In this role you will oversee the care management of a population of patients within an assigned area, unit or clinical function. You will conduct the nursing process, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation under the scope of the State's Nurse Practice Act of Registered Nurse licensure. You will coordinate resource utilization, timely and appropriate care interventions, and interdisciplinary communication to enhance patient and family satisfaction, adherence to center's clinical systems, and regulatory compliance.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and be licensed as an RN in the state of Pennsylvania (or have the ability to gain this licensure). Preference given to candidates with a Bachelors degree in Nursing. Must have at least 1-3 years of nurse management experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility. Must have a stable work history. Our ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced unit (either sub-acute rehab, ICU, or ER).
