You are a Registered Nurse and have three (3) or more years of Occupational Nursing experience. You have solid knowledge of workers compensation specifically as it relates to case management. You have experience with hearing conservation and respiratory programs, as well as experience maintaining compliance with safety programs. In this role you will serve as the onsite occupational health leader and be instrumental to the team's safety. You will help manage all aspects of safety, injuries, near misses, and more. You will work closely with the EH&S team on a variety of medical management activities, drug testing, hearing testing, respirator fit, employee advocacy, training, case management, proactive health coaching, and more. You will be responsible for the development and administration of efficient and professional operations of occupational health services in accordance with company policies, practices, procedures, and applicable regulations to achieve the desired goals and objectives.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of New Jersey (or have the ability to gain this licensure). Must have three (3) or more years of occupational health experience. Must have general knowledge of OSHA (health related requirements and regulations). Must have skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Our preferred candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment. (union environment, heavy industrial). Preference also given to candidates with experience delivering training. Must be able to be on call 24/7.
