Looking for a change of scenery? We seek a Registered Nurse with five (5) or more years of experience in an acute care or ambulatory surgery setting and (3) or more years of management experience for the role of Director of Nursing. In this role you will report to the CNO and remain responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and management of patient care areas including the practice of professional nursing, patient care quality, operations, department planning and development, employee development, and evaluation of services. You will provide administrative support to a team of Administrative Directors and managers in assigned patient care areas as well as ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of practice. You will integrate and coordinate services using a proven hands-on approach. You will participate as a member of the Clinic Quality Sub-Committee and coordinates clinical quality initiatives.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing and be licensed as an RN in the state of Washington. Master’s Degree in Nursing, business, or other healthcare field from an accredited educational institution preferred. Must have three (3) or more years of management experience and five (5) or more years of recent acute care experience and/or ambulatory surgery center experience required. Certification in specialty area required.
