Director of Wound Care Operations

We’re working on behalf of a healthcare system that offers a wide range of services across the greater Phoenix area through its hospitals, emergency and urgent care centers, and primary care and specialty physician offices. Their hospitals provide cardiology, orthopedics, spine, neurology, oncology and other highly specialized care including minimally invasive surgical services.  Their comprehensive wound care centers provide expert evaluation, individualized therapy plans, and support for each patient. This approach ensures that their highly trained specialists are able to identify the reason a wound is not healing; identify and treat any infection present; provide appropriate treatment to enhance wound healing; provide relief for diseased tissue; and prevent loss of limbs. With five convenient locations, we offer easy accessibility and a multidisciplinary team of specialists with extensive experience in wound care and hyperbaric medicine.

We seek candidates with 5 - 7 years of progressively more responsible experience in wound care ambulatory operations/ outpatient settings, including three years’ leadership/supervisory experience, for the role of Market Director, Wound Care. In this role you will  be responsible for developing and/or organizing systems and/or programs common to all ambulatory clinics including but not limited to, facilities planning and maintenance for multiple ambulatory facilities, information systems, policies and procedures for regulatory compliance, medical record information flow, patient satisfaction, patient flow and access across services, policies and procedures for regulatory compliance, service availability and quality management/improvement.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Business, Health Care Administration or related field and 5 - 7 years of progressively more responsible experience in wound care ambulatory operations/ outpatient settings. Preference given to candidates with a MSN, MBA or MHA. Must have operational and program development experience.
