Looking for a change of scenery? We seek a Registered Nurse with demonstrated leadership experience in the surgical services for the role of Director of Perioperative Services. In this role you will perform the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients in the acute care setting. You will be responsible for meeting the established standards of Nursing Practice and promoting cooperation among the interdisciplinary healthcare team. You will assist all members of the leadership team in meeting hospital wide and department specific goals. You will mentor and evaluate department staff in meeting personal accountabilities. You will demonstrate effective supervisory performance evaluations, quality improvement, and progressive discipline. You will assume budgetary input and responsibility for operational and capital department budgets.
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Nursing and be licensed as an RN in the state of California. Preference given to candidates with a MSN. Must have three (3) or more years of perioperative experience that includes leadership experience. Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must have proven team building skills.
