Looking for a change of scenery? We seek a Registered Nurse with three (3) or more years of supervisory experience for the role of Operating Room Manager. In this role you will report to the Director of Surgical Services and provide leadership for the practice and delivery of safe, effective, efficient, ethical, and culturally-competent patient care. This includes oversight of management of human, fiscal, and material resources in accordance with hospital guidelines, organizational/nursing philosophies, and in compliance with regulatory and professional standards. Key accountabilities include fostering interdisciplinary collaborative relationships; using critical thinking and analytical skills to evaluate outcome data; designing/implementing performance improvement strategies based on data; and promoting evidence-based practice.
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Nursing and be licensed in the state of Iowa (or have the ability to gain this licensure). Must have three (3) or more years of clinical experience in the operating room that includes leadership experience.Bachelor's Degree required. Candidates must be will to obtain Master's Degree in a health related field within five (5) years of hire. Strong preference given to candidates with CNOR certification.
