Looking for a change of scenery?  We seek a Bachelor's educated RN with five (5) or more years of experience as  a DON or ADON for the role of Director of Nursing.  In this role you will lead a 59-bed licensed bed facility (currently CMS 5 Star) with skilled, LTC, assisted living, memory care and hospice. You will be responsible for nursing management and delegate authority for carrying out the daily operational activities related to supplies, equipment, and the department's physical environment. You will provide direct oversight of the Infection Prevention and Control Program (IPCP) and develop and support a program of Antibiotic Stewardship for the facility. You will serve as a member of the Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement (QAPI) committee. You will provide oversight of nursing and clinical practice and  recommend capital, staff, and expense budget. You will monitor adherence to approved budget and identify rationale for budget variances. You will promote and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff, an environment conducive to rehabilitation and wellness.

Candidates must have a BSN and be licensed as an RN in the state of Maine (or have Compact RN license). Must five (5) or more years of long term care experience as DON or ADON in a 4-star or 5-star facility.   Must have excellent knowledge of CMS requirements. Preference given to candidates with a MSN.
