Looking for a change of scenery?  We seek candidates with two (2) or more years of HR Generalist or HRBP experience in a healthcare setting for the role of Human Resources Business Partner at a 129-bed hospital.  In this role you will maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will work directly with department managers on hiring, evaluations, competency documentation and performance issues. You will post open positions, advertise, recruit, and screen applicants, conduct reference checks and education/licensure/registration/certification verification on potential employees. You will coordinate and direct the on-boarding process for employees (offer calls, background checks, offer letters, orientation enrollment, required documents and the scheduling of employee health appointments). You will process internal transfers. You will act as a liaison with employment agencies, advertising agencies, and temporary agencies and reviews contracts with these agencies. You will develop and draft job descriptions. You wll interface with employees, supervisors and managers relative to benefits, compensation, discipline and policy interpretation.

Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related area and two (2) or more years of HR Generalist or HRBP experience in a healthcare setting (may substitute 5 years progressive, recent HR experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree). Union experience is highly preferable. Must be able to make independent decisions. Must have demonstrated leadership ability. Must have effective written and verbal interpersonal skills. Must be able to manage multiple positions and priorities. Must be able to understand, adapt and respond effectively to a constantly changing environment.
