Looking for a change of scenery? We seek a Medical Technologist with certification by ASCP or other equivalent registry for a role at a critical access hospital in Yuma. In this role you will coordinate daily activities, thus being able to perform technical and sophisticated testing procedures obtaining timely and accurate clinical data. You will accommodate patients, family members, and guests during the collection of laboratory specimens maintaining technical expertise, providing a comfortable setting and aspiring to the highest principles of customer service.
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or related field and have completed a one-year internship in an accredited program. Experienced candidates are preferred although candidates just coming off an internship with MT(ASCP) certification will be considered. Experience with Blood Banking and Microbiology required. Must be able to perform phlebotomy with accuracy and compassion Must have strong computer and telephone skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
