Looking for a change of scenery? We seek a California licensed Registered Nurse with a Bachelors degree and at least one (1) year of recent Perinatal Nursing experience for the role of Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery. In this role you will provide professional nursing care to patients through the Labor and Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum and Nursery, by utilizing the established facility and AWHONN policies, procedures and guidelines, ensuring safe and effective care. You will perform antenatal testing, monitor maternal and neonatal well being during labor, and provide individualized care structured to each patient’s unique situation and requests in order to achieve a safe and positive birthing experience for the family unit. You will provide postpartum care and education based on individual needs and department standards. You will provide newborn care based on individual needs and departmental standards. 
 
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Nursing and be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of California. Must have at least one (1) year of recent Perinatal Nursing experience. Five (5) or more years is preferred. Must have current validation of competency in Fetal Monitoring.  Must have current ACLS and BLS for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association or ability to obtain prior to start date. Must have current NRP by the American Academy of Pediatrics or ability to obtain prior to start date.
