Looking for a change of scenery? We seek a Registered Nurse with five (5) or more years of experience that includes two (2) or more years of leadership experience for the role of Nurse Manager. In this role you will join a 150-bed community hospital and join a current nurse manager in co-managing the hospital's 64-bed Medical-Telemetry units. You will assume responsibility for results including costs, methods, and staffing for 24-hour nursing operations for the Med-Tele nursing unit. You will be responsible for operational performance, quality, service environment, and regulatory compliance. You will receive assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Nursing and be licensed as an RN in the state of Washington (or have the ability to gain this licensure). Preference given to candidates with a Masters degree. Must have at least two (2) years of progressive leadership experience to include previous Supervisor, Assistant Nurse Manager, or similar experience. Must have five (5) or more years of nursing experience that includes recent acute care experience. Strong preference given to candidates with Med-Surg, Telemetry or ICU experience. Experience with increasing employee and patient satisfaction is a big plus.
