We’re working on behalf of one of the largest community-based organizations advocating for and serving the marginalized and vulnerable ethnic communities in Santa Clara County. The organization’s mission is to strengthen the hope and resilience of its community members by improving their health, mental health and well-being. Their behavioral health programs offer linguistically and culturally sensitive services that help clients overcome barriers to care. Their trauma-informed, client-centered, community-based approach includes individual, groups, and family counseling for ages 6 and up at our clinics, in the home, at school, or in the community.
We seek a CA Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with one year or more of direct experience working with children ages 0-5 in a clinical setting for the role of Child Therapist Ages 0-5. The person in this role will provide direct behavioral health rehabilitation services including individual/group/family counseling, culturally relevant assessment and evaluation and case management to children and families in the foster care system.
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in psychology or related field. Must have one (1) year or more of direct experience working with children ages 0-5 in a clinical setting. Must have knowledge of Juvenile Probation Department, Santa Clara County Department of Family and Children Services, Family Advocates, Social Security Agency, private insurance companies, Must be able to maintain a valid California driver license, current personal auto insurance, and an MVR sufficient to maintain insurability under agency auto liability policies. Proficiency working within the ICPM Integrative Core Program Model highly desired. Strong preference given to candidates who are fluent in Spanish or Vietnamese.
