We seek candidates with six or more months of experience in a hospital operating room and CST certification for the role of Surgical Technologist – Operating Room/Surgery. The person in this role will be responsible for facilitating the surgical procedure through the assembly of instrumentation, equipment and supplies. She/he will work as a member of the surgical team under the supervision of a registered nurse, with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and other medical support personnel to provide patient care in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values of the hospital.
Candidates must hold a Certificate of completion of a Surgical Technician vocational program or documentation of equivalent training. Must have at least six (6) months of acute care experience. Most hold registration with the Washington State Department of Health as a Surgical Technologist. Must possess CPR Provider certification. Strong preference given to candidates with CST certification.
