We’re working on behalf of two highly respected healthcare organizations that have signed a collaborative agreement to develop a multimillion-dollar skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Cleveland. The agreement demonstrates how health systems and senior care experts with advanced knowledge of the health care continuum can partner to develop innovative senior care solutions. By leveraging their respective skills and expertise, the two organizations are uniquely positioned to improve health care connectivity and access to resources that support healthy aging in the Cleveland area. The new, state-of-the-art facility is expected to open in late 2021 will have 96 beds be housed on four floors that provide medically complex and intensive rehabilitation services for short-term patients transitioning from hospital to home, in addition to 24-hour skilled nursing care.
Looking for an opportunity at a brand new facility? We seek candidates with three (3) or more years of experience as a DON within a high acuity skilled nursing facility for the role of Director of Nursing. The person in this role will collaborate with the Administrator and direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State and healthcare organization standards, guidelines and regulations. She/he will assume the responsibility for center operations in the Administrator's absence. She/he will conduct the nursing process – assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation – under the scope of the State's Nurse Practice Act of Registered Nurse licensure.
Candidates must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio (or have the ability to gain this licensure). Strong preference given to candidates with a BSN. Must have three (3) or more years of experience as a Director of Nursing within a high acuity skilled nursing facility.
