The organization’s Neurodiagnostic Services is the leading program in the West for supporting and delivering high-level care in complex cases related in surgical evaluations in their Level IV Epilepsy Program.
We seek candidates with two (2) years’ experience as an EEG Technologist for the role of Neurodiagnostic Technologist (or Senior Neurodiagnostic Technologist, depending on experience). The person in this role will participate as an integral member of the Neurodiagnostic Services by performing routine and complex EEGs, Video EEG in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, Long Term (EEG) monitoring, Evoked Potentials (EPs) and other specialized procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including nursing floors, intensive care units, operating room and other specialized locations. These tests record the electrical activity in the brain and nervous system. She/he will ensure electrode and technical integrity and quality of all Neurodiagnostic procedures performed. Accurate results provide the physician with valuable information to diagnose and treat neurological conditions/disorders such as headaches, seizures, strokes, and degenerative brain disease. She/he may participate in departmental and organizational programs, including performance improvement activities, in-services and staff development activities.
Candidates must be a graduate from an accredited training program in Neurodiagnostics or a combination of education and experience. Must have demonstrated competency in performing EEG’s as well as in one or modalities such as EP, LTM, EMU etc. Candidates for the SR EEG Tech role must be registered in one or more modalities and have demonstrated competency in performing complex EEG’s as well as in one or modalities such as EP, LTM, EMU etc. (as well as at least two years’ experience in an acute care hospital setting).
The role offers superior compensation ($115,000 - $152,000 based on experience) and exceptional benefits. Relocation assistance is available.
