RN Director, Women's & Newborn Health

The hospital has been recognized by the Joint Commission for excellence achieving Perinatal Care Certification in 2017.  Their recently expanded campus now has 352 all-private rooms, to meet the needs of the community.  The Women and Newborn’s Pavilion is home to the Future Generations Center with three designated floors for Perinatal and Newborn Care.  This includes 16 Labor and Delivery rooms, an 11 bed Obstetrical Triage department, 3 designated operating suites, a 3 bed Post Anesthesia Care Unit and 40 private post-partum rooms. We seek a California licensed Registered Nurse with five (5) or more years of hospital nursing experience for the role of Director of Women’s & Newborn Health. The person in this role will oversee Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics. She/he will oversee the hospital’s high-quality patient care in Labor & Delivery, High-Risk Antepartum, and the post-partum units. Through clinical and operational leadership, excellent partnership with the hospital’s private practice physicians, as well as a passion for mentorship, she/he will be integral to the team while helping more than 4,000 families grow each year.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration or Healthcare Administration and be licensed as an RN in the state of California. Preference give to candidates with a MSN, MBA or other Master’s degree so as to work effectively with administrative management. Must have five (5) or more years of hospital nursing experience that includes two (2) or more years of management experience.

The role offers highly competitive compensation
