We seek candidates with a Masters in Social Work Counseling (or related Behavioral Health) and clinical licensure in Nevada – or a Nevada licensed Registered Nurse – for the role of Behavioral Health Case Manager I. The person in this role will work an 8 am – 5 pm M-F shift in a remote environment with the potential to become hybrid. She/he will be responsible for performing case management telephonically and/or by home visits within the scope of licensure for members with behavioral health and substance abuse or substance abuse disorder needs. She/he will use appropriate screening criteria knowledge and clinical judgment to assess member needs. She/he will conduct assessments to identify individual needs and develop care plan to address objectives and goals as identified during assessment. She/he will monitor and evaluate effectiveness of care plan and modifies plan as needed. She/he will support member access to appropriate quality and cost effective care. She/he will coordinate with internal and external resources to meet identified needs of the members and collaborates with providers.
Candidates must have a Masters in Social Work Counseling (or related Behavioral Health) and clinical licensure in Nevada. Candidates with Nevada licensure as a Registered Nurse will also be considered for this role. Candidates must have three (3) or more years of clinical experience in social work counseling with a broad range of experience with complex psychiatric and substance abuse or substance abuse disorder treatment; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Strong preference given to candidates with telephonic case management experience. Candidates must live within 30 minutes of Reno.
