We’re working on behalf of a 66-bed long-term acute care hospital offering the same in-depth care patients would receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recovery period. Their clinicians play a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients. In 2019, the healthcare organization's long-term acute care hospitals discharged more than 66% of patients home or to a lower setting of care. 

We seek candidates with of one (1) or more years year of clinical experience in a med surg or critical care setting and experience in Infection Control for the role of Infection Control Practitioner – Registered Nurse. The person in this role will consult with physicians, managers, and staff for the management of infectious and/or immune-suppressed patients.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in nursing or healthcare related field. Must hold current Nevada RN license. Must hold BLS certification required. ICP or related certification is highly preferred. Must have one (1) or more years of  clinical experience in a med surg or critical care setting. Must have experience in Infection Control with basic knowledge of the principles of epidemiology and infections, diseases, sterilization, sanitation, and disinfection practice.
