We seek a California licensed APRN with experience in a specialty area, such as cardiology, pulmonology, etc. for the role of Nurse Practitioner - Specialty. The person in this role will provide for the health care needs of patients in collaboration with the physician, through advanced assessment and identification of health states including abnormal conditions, diagnosing, treatment and evaluation. She/he will perform care in a specialty area such as cardiology, pulmonology, etc. She/he will utilize evidence-based clinical practice standards to provide direct clinical services for patients within prescribed guidelines and physician instructions. She/he will act independently to perform individual assessments, diagnostic functions, specialized risk assessments, and make critical decisions regarding a wide variety of health situations, including high risk and crisis situations. She/he will acquire patient health histories and evaluates patient, performing physical examinations.

Candidates must have a MS in Nursing and minimum of 3 years of related experience with clinical emphasis for nurse practitioner. Must have current unrestricted RN license and NP license in California. Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a specialty area, such as cardiology, pulmonology, orthopedics, etc.
