We seek candidates with a Ph.D. and three (3) or more years of relative industry experience for the role of Scientist II, Molecular Genetics and Cellular Biology.  The person in this role will be responsible for the intellectual and hands on evaluation of therapeutic strategies in support of the research pipeline.  In the act of doing so, they will have multidisciplinary interactions with dozens of colleagues throughout Research and across the business.  This is primarily a laboratory-based role where in vitro molecular, cellular, genetic and biochemical methods will be applied.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. and three (3) or more years of relevant industry experience. Candidates must have a passion for finding treatments for rare genetic diseases. Must have a strong foundation in molecular, cellular, genetic, and biochemical concepts and methodology as demonstrated through publications and presentations. Must have demonstrable success in:
- Designing and carrying out lean sets of experiments that produce actionable data; proposing hypotheses, testing them, and delivering reliable results consistently.
- Rapidly mastering new fields and methods and connecting with KOLs.
- Presenting experimental results, conclusions, implications, and next steps.
