Principal XR Radiology Technologist

We seek candidates with ARRT(R) certification for the role of Principal XR Radiology Technologist. The person in this role will work primarily at the health system’s new medical building complex (which runs along Illinois, Mariposa and Third streets). The person in this role will work flexible hours which would also include travel at the health system’s other locations which includes SF Mission Bay and SF China Basin. Work hours and days are variable depending on which campus one would work. He/she will perform radiologic procedures in assigned areas at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.  He/she will perform safe imaging procedures on all emergent, inpatient and outpatient age-specific populations.  Diagnostic procedures include, but are not limited to, Basic radiographic exams using fixed and portable imaging equipment in various settings such as Outpatient/Inpatient, OR/Hybrid, ER, fluoro and Endoscopy.

Candidates must hold ARRT(R) licensure and CRT licensure. Must have at least seven (7) years of experience in acute care setting.  Must hold CRT Fluoroscopy licensure (or be able to obtain within 6 month probationary period). Most have competency in Advanced procedures such as arthograms, myelograms, kyphoplasty, XLIFS, ESWL, HSG’s, PNL's, Scoliosis imaging and O-Ring and OR Vascular procedures. Must have competency in specialized procedures such as: operation of vascular imaging equipment and ERCP. Must have flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays. Must be willing to assist at any of the health system’s medical center locations. 

The role offers highly competitive compensation ($153,426 to $190,759 based on experience) and excellent benefits. Relocation assistance is available.
