We seek a physician with Occupational Medicine certification and knowledge of the PA workers compensation system, pertinent DOH regulations and particularly PA Act 148 for the role of System Medical Director, Occupational Health and Employee Health. He/she will support the strategic vision and direction of Occupational Health and Employee Health Services for the hospital. He/she will provide clinical leadership for system Occupational Health & Worker’s Compensation matters and provide subject matter expertise as well as clinical oversight of Occupational Claims for Workers Compensation. He/she will also serve as the System Medical Director for enterprise Occupational Claims, including fiscal oversight.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited medical institution and be licensed as a physician in the state of Pennsylvania (or have the ability to gain this licensure). Must hold Occupational Medicine certification. Must have a strong understanding of relevant legislative framework including but not limited to: OSHA, ADA, FMLA, GINA. Must have strong knowledge of workers compensation. Must have excellent oral/written communication skills.
