We seek candidates with previous clinical manager experience in a union environment and an ambulatory environment for the role of Clinical Nurse Manager – Urology. The person in this role will assume oversight of operational clinic work including RN telephone triage, RN procedures, Apex In Basket management. She/he will manage the patient care delivery system to assure quality care, patient safety, standard work and compliance with internal policy, external regulations, and accepted practices across the continuum of care. Allocates environmental, technical, and staffing resources. May also manage the fiscal and administrative operations. She/he will represent assigned clinics or centers on task forces or committees. She/he will participate to develop new programs, review technology improvements, design quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives, etc.

Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Nursing and be licensed as an RN in the state of California (or have the ability to gain this licensure). Must have at least five (5) years clinical RN experience that includes two (2) or more years’ managerial experience in an acute care or outpatient setting. Must have strong clinic / center patient care management skills. Must have practice management knowledge in scheduling, customer-service methods, regulatory compliance, accreditation requirements, and / or information technology. Must have broad knowledge of patient population served and the requirements for the delivery of services.
