We’re working on behalf of a healthcare organization whose PACE (All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program provides seniors with the opportunity to continue living in their homes and in their communities. Their innovative and comprehensive range of medical services to participants is what ignites the organization’s passion to treat the whole person and not the symptoms. They employ a collaborative interdisciplinary team (IDT) approach to evaluate and guide participant care, which is key to organizational values, team culture, and mission.

We seek candidates with at least four (2) years of experience directing nutrition services in a similar setting for the role of Registered Dietitian. The person in this role will conduct nutrition assessments to determine the needs, preferences, and goals of participants, and actively participate in IDT meetings to develop participant care plans. She/he will deliver and document direct care nutrition interventions in accordance with physician orders and/or as agreed upon in the participants’ care plans, including but not limited to implementing and monitoring special diets, and providing nutrition counseling to participants and families. She/he will oversee menu planning and meal delivery programs to ensure that all safety and regulatory requirements are met, and that participants receive the correct specified diets. She/he will direct the nutrition staff, including hiring, training, overseeing, and mentoring. She/he will guide the intake and enrollment process to ensure prospective participants move through the enrollment process in a timely and effective manner.

Candidates must be Registered Dietitian with at least two (2) years of experience directing nutrition services in a similar setting. One (1) year of experience with frail or elderly populations is highly preferred. Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) / First Aid Certification required. Must have excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills in settings with seniors, their families, and IDT members.

The role offers highly competitive compensation (salary $75,000 - $90,000 based on experience) and Medical insurance coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision) as well as 17 days of personal time off (PTO), 12 holidays observed annually, and sick time. 401 K savings + match also offered. This is a great opportunity to join an organization whose mission is to unlock the full potential of our vulnerable seniors.  For more information call 941.739.1400, or submit your resume now by clicking on the button below that says "Apply Now."
