Apply to Clinical Nurse Manager | Geriatrics
We’re working on behalf of a healthcare organization whose PACE (All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program provides seniors with the opportunity to continue living in their homes and in their communities. The organization’s innovative and comprehensive range of medical services to participants is what ignites their passion to treat the whole person and not the symptoms. They employ a collaborative interdisciplinary team (IDT) approach to evaluate and guide participant care, which is key to their values, team culture, and mission. They opened their PACE center in San Jose in January 2024.
We seek candidates with two (2) or more years of experience overseeing an ambulatory clinic operation including RN, LVN, and MA staff and two (2) years of experience in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly population for the role of Clinical Nurse Manager. The person in this role will work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule – no weekends, no nights, and no on call, along with far less burnout compared to hospital management roles. She/he will organize and direct the day-to-day operations within the clinic, oversee clinic staff, and carefully coordinate clinic workflows to ensure services are provided effectively. She/he will work with purpose and have the opportunity to observe participant outcomes over time, rather than traditional roles that treat episodes.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing or relevant healthcare field and be licensed as an RN in the state of California. Professional experience may be substituted for BSN. Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience overseeing an ambulatory clinic operation including RN, LVN, and MA staff. Must have at least two (2) years of experience in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly population. Should be well-versed in people development, management, and RN-level nursing care.
The role offers a competitive compensation (salary to $157,023 to $207,270 based on experience) and excellent benefits that include medical insurance coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision) and 401-K savings + match. The role also provides great work/life balance - 17 days of personal time off (PTO), 12 holidays observed annually, and sick time. This is a great opportunity to join the fastest growing PACE program in California.
