Director of Laboratory | Hospital

Location: Indio, CA
Date Posted: 05-19-2018
The City of Indio is located on the east end of the beautiful Coachella Valley about 130 miles east of Los Angeles on Interstate 10.  While it’s undeniable that the wildly popular Coachella music festival put Indio on the map, there is so much more to do and see.  Residents are spoiled by a year-round sunny climate, soaring palm trees, and picturesque mountains that provide a perfect atmosphere in which to work, live, and play. Indio is one of the “greenest” deserts around, not only because of the profusion of golf courses and verdant botanical gardens, but also for its collective commitment to sustainability evident in exemplary conservation measures, including recycling programs and xeriscaping implemented by cities, resorts, and residents.  It is a playground for world-class polo enthusiasts and a haven for golf and tennis players.  Its rich heritage can be seen in bold, colorful murals that embellish buildings throughout the City and its diverse history is showcased at the Coachella Valley History Museum.
