Looking for a change of scenery?  We seek a Registered Nurse with two (2) or more years of leadership experience in the ED for the role of Nurse Manager - Emergency.  In this role you will join a 200-bed community hospital that includes a 37-bed Emergency Department with a Level III trauma center. This ER provides services to an area of approximately 165,000 people with the ED seeing an average of 54,000 visits annually. This particular role is an additional manager position for the ED that will be joining a day shift nurse manager.  The intent is for this position is to provide leadership during evening hours, (3pm - midnight with some flexibility) with approximately 50 caregiver reporting directly to this position. This position will manage the coordination of activities during the evening shift for the Emergency department, staff performance and patient outcomes;  hiring, retention, regulatory compliance, Will be responsible for hiring, performance evaluations,
 
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Nursing and be licensed as an RN in the state of Washington (or have the ability to gain this licensure).  Preference given to candidates with a Masters degree. Must have two (2) or more years of leadership experience in Emergency services (this includes working as a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Assistant Nurse Manager). Must have five (5) or more years of overall nursing experience.
