We seek a Nursing leader with five (5) or more years acute care hospital leadership over multiple units including Critical Care or PCU for the role of Senior Director of Nursing. In this role you will report to the CNO and oversee and mentor all of the Directors/Managers of the Speciality Units to include ER (74,000 visits per year, 42 Beds, Not trauma Designated); Women's Services (10 Bed LDR, 2000 Births per year, Level IIA NICU; ICU (20 Beds, advanced Cardiovascular Service Line including Structural); PCU (12 Beds); and Behavioral Health (Currently 12 Beds expanding to 20). You will provide leadership and oversight to the continuum of care achieving and sustaining high quality and service while being a low-cost provider. You will develop and implement initiatives to expand and maximize the effectiveness of the Services, including targeted performance improvement initiatives for all areas. You will promote the development and implementation of best practices and the cultivation of a highly efficient patient flow process. You will collaborate with the nursing and medical staff leadership on issues related to service delivery, technology and equipment, capital planning, revenue generation and enhancement, and all other related administrative matters.
Candidates must have a Masters degree (MSN, MBA, MHA, etc.) with a BSN and be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts (or have the ability to gain this licensure). Must have at least five (5) years nursing leadership experience in an acute care setting. Critical Care or PCU oversight experience is required.
