Looking for a change of scenery? We seek candidates with five (5) or more years of experience in mental health, behavioral health, psychology, nursing or related field for the role of Director of Assessment & Referrals (Behavioral Health). In this role you will assume 24/7 responsibility for assessment, referral, and admission activities and ensure prompt response to patient and referral needs, provide clinical supervision to staff, assure appropriateness of risk assessments, crisis interventions and referrals to level of care. You will manage all of the Assessment and Referral, Utilization Review, and Reception departments. You will assist the Administrator in operational duties as assigned. You will coordinate all aspects of patients entering the Assessment and Referral Department. You will provide back-up call for Assessment, UR and Reception staff.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse or possess a Masters degree in related field (Social Work, Counseling, etc.). Must have five (5) or more years of experience in mental health, behavioral health, psychology, nursing or related field that includes two (2) or more years of management experience.
