EPIC Clinical Analyst

We’re working on behalf of a nationally recognized health care system that serves a 10-county region in southeastern Indiana. The hospital has 1,650 employees and over 225 physicians providing emergency and surgical services and comprehensive care in numerous specialty areas. Over the years the hospital has grown along with its staff and physician network to include outpatient centers and has become much more than a single hospital. 

We seek candidates with four (4) or more years of industry related experience (healthcare, information systems, business systems or other applicable area) for the role of EPIC Clinical Analyst. This position is eligible for partial remote work. The person in this role will be responsible for the analysis, build, testing, implementation and support activities for Beaker application and related third party system(s). She/he will ensure the system furthers the enterprise’s goal of excellent patient care as well as supporting the health system’s quality initiatives. Clinical Analysts work with other Application Analysts to maintain an integrated medical record. This will ensure adherence to the standard system while working with subject matter experts, champions, and super-users to resolve issues and work toward a common goal. The position is a primary support contact for the Beaker application and related third party system(s). The position serves as a bridge between end users and the vendor staff. The Information Services department is located in a secure technical center located minutes from the hospital campus and houses a state-of-the-art data center. The team has a family feel, with a team goal oriented staff and remote work available.

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree. Must have four (4) years industry related experience (healthcare, information systems, business systems or other applicable area). Must have experience with multi-application integration and system inter-dependencies. Must have experience with cross-discipline healthcare processes and workflows. Must have experience with databases. Must have EPIC certification.
